Gopal Hari was blessed to meet his Guru, Babaji, in His physical form in His ashram in the foothills of the Himalayas in India. Gopal Hari was immersed in Babaji’s teachings at the ashram, was initiated as a pujari (priest) and, with Babaji’s blessings, began devotional chanting. On returning to the West, Gopal Hari met his wife Ambika and they continued to live the teachings of Sri Babaji. They home educated their two sons, Shambo and Veda, who played in Goma since childhood. Through their example of humility, simplicity and devotion, they have inspired many people in the U.K. and across Europe (travelling and sharing kirtan until Gopal Hari left his body some years back) to come closer to their true Selves.
